Players must remember that although counting cards in the deck is not specifically prohibited by law, most casinos frown upon card counting and will immediately ban anyone that they suspect of using the technique. Players must remember that they are only a guest and casino has the right to impose their own rules. So players must practice their skills in their own homes or at small tournament before playing in a casino.

Card Counting is a simple technique, but counting correctly and making sure you are not caught can be difficult. The concept behind card counting is very easy. Some cards in the deck are given a value of -1 to 1 and a zero. The cards with a value of two to six are all given a value of one.

The cards that have a face value of seven to nine are all assigned gets a zero value. The ten, face and ace cards gets a value of -1. If the player will add all of the values for each card in the 52 deck, the total will be zero, so card counting is considered to be a zero proposal. It means that the total count of the zero shows the amount of distribution in the deck.

A good count means that the deck has a lot of cards that has a value of ten or eleven. A deck that has a small number means that it has a lot of small cards, which is bad news for the player. If you are good enough to learn card counting then you can incorporate in your wagering style.

Just keep track of the cards as they are given out and start counting as happens. You can then review your cards after you have totaled the card deck mentally. Players should adjust their total of the card deck as each card is shown.

If the card deck has a value of +8, players should wager 50 percent more than the minimum wager of the table. If the card deck has a value of +12, players should double their wager.

The bigger numbers increased the chances of a dealer's bust and can help the player's chances greatly. If the card deck is classified as neutral, players can just make a minimum wager.
